Here’s Sunday’s Photo of the Day: Quietus by Donaldcameron“A quite abstract shot of the sea defence wall (made up of huge concrete blocks known as “dolo’s”) at Torness Nuclear Power Station in Scotland. I used a fairly long exposure (approx 3 minutes) and black & white conversion to create a really strong contrast - the smoothness of the water versus the jagged blocks, and the strong blacks versus the bright whites - to try turning an ordinary functional subject into something intriguing and strange.”
